Airtel Introduces Application Central

Airtel, which has come up with another feature called the App Central, an online application store, in addition to their existing Airtel Live mobile internet homepage, is surely going to attract more people. Though the work is still in progress, yet many handset manufacturers like Nokia, RIM, Samsung, LG, HTC, Spice and Acer are offering their support. The developers will be able to create apps for all handsets and operating systems with the help of App Central. Airtel will provide the facility of online application store, irrespective of whichever handset or operating system a person is using. It is even offering its services on the handsets that run on JAVA OS. This is far handier than downloading content for the mobile operating systems from websites. This system will distinguish the operating system and then will showcase apps accordingly. It will become easy for the mobile maniacs to change mobile sets frequently, as App Central stores all the downloaded applications in a section called My Purchases, whi ch can be installed again. As far as the billing system is concerned, any application that is downloaded with a price tag on it will be added to the bill or subtracted from the pre-paid talk-time. Airtel may also offer a downloadable version of App Central so that the users need not access it through internet.
