Ontario worst-roads survey

Only two days into voting, Hamilton already has three streets making the grade in the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) worst-roads survey. Burlington Street is coming in at third place so far. It had just over 50 votes yesterday afternoon. Last year, Burlington Street placed 14th on Ontario's 20 worst roads. Hamilton's Stone Church Road was ninth. Upper Wellington is so far tied with a street in Ottawa for 14th place. And Woodward Avenue is tied with Steeles Avenue in Vaughan for 15th place. Here's what drivers are saying: Burlington Street, 51 votes "You are better off to drive on broken glass than on this street."."(This street) looks like an off-road test track.". "It has been responsible for many car problems I have had, lost hub caps, shocks, tie rods, and not to mention the burns from coffee on my lap.". Upper Wellington, 11 votes "Potholes, uneven, flooding, you couldn't drink a coffee while on this road.". Woodward Avenue, 9 votes. "An adventure every day of vehicle dodge ball." "I can't even pull my boat home from the Skyway on this road as it is way too rough.". To vote, go to www.caasco.com/community/worst-roads or visit any CAA-approved garage.
