A person who has already involved in the process of buying and selling will really know how they are forced to be frustrated when they buy and sell cars even if it is a simplified transaction. It's hard enough to process bill of sale paperwork, to get a new registration or filing legitimate paperwork for tax purposes. Sometimes it is really like a night mare and its really not a smooth deal of buying and selling.

One of the most common scams is the cheque bounces. Mostly finance dealings are done via bank that is rather involving cash they transact via cheques and if the cheque issuing person is not trust worthy then there is a great problem of cheque bounce. To avoid these kind of cheque bounce when deposited we can go for a better dealing that we can handle the exact cash needed in the dealing of selling and buying process of cars. There are other scam scenarios in which the person that is supposed to be the potential buyer takes the used vehicle for a test drive, and never returns the vehicle. Sometimes, the potential buyer returns the vehicle and it is damaged condition after test drive. The buyer then offers and no claim for the damage costs. It is very easy to get scammed these days. Sellers have to protect their property until the sale is final and they have obtained the money in hand before they surrender their property to their buyer whom has finalized for taking of the possession of the car.

The best way for a seller to avoid a car selling nightmare is to make sure that they have sufficient information about the potential buyer who is in proposal of buying. Now there is a general habit been followed by the seller that is they insist the buyer to stand near the vehicle and capture a photo so it will act as valuable record. This has proved a good idea because it provides a visual of the buyer and the photo can be brought to the police if any problems occur. Another way to prevent getting scammed is to require cash for purchase. No matter what the sob story may be, do not allow someone to talk you into accepting a payment in the form of a cheque. Though it may seem harsh to have to be so untrusting, it is important to protect your assets. Be careful when selling your vehicle or you may find yourself in a scam.
