According to data compiled by Tri Petch Isuzu Sales, the Thailand automobile market witnessed a 28.01% drop in sales in the first six months of 2009, when a total of 231,428 units were sold. While the worst performers are the van and 1.5 tonne trucks, with the contraction of 40.91%, the best performer was the passenger car segment which dropped only 13.01% YoY. In June alone, 43,402 vehicles were sold.
