Every individual has a motive to get his ambitious job. Now- a- days getting a job is very easy but maintaining it is very difficult. People (employees) face different situations at work like reaching targets, managing the assigned tasks, dealing with different type of clients etc., as a result they feel a kind of stress and the same is being brought to home after the work hours. When they carry on such emotions or keep those buried in their mind it leads to pain and anger. This spoils both work and life. For a work to be successful and to lead a happy life there should be proper balance. People should know how to combine work, family relationship and leisure time into a satisfying life.

SOME THINGS PEOPLE DEAL WITH ON A DAILY BASIS

In general people deal with a lot of tasks on a daily basis like spending time with lovable persons, family, taking care of parents and children. Apart from this there are also other activities like relaxing (playing games, listing to music), getting ahead of work, commuting to/from work, day to day routine activities etc., People should know how to balance office works and routine works. Both should be equal proportion to lead a happy and a balanced life.

WAYS TO GET WORK/LIFE IN BALANCE

  • Negotiate a Change with the Current Employer-Flexible work timing, telecommuting, job-sharing, part-time work etc.; doing so helps in managing work efficiently and more effectively.

  • Slow Down- Find things that are more helpful in reducing stress also take steps to stop and enjoy the things and people around.

  • Manage Time- Learn to use time effectively. Do not procrastinate. Most of the stress comes from improper time management.

  • Do not dump- At times we could not complete the tasks on time and there would also be few others in queue. This leads to dumping and causes stress. So better complete tasks on time.

  • Set Priorities- When there are many tasks, plan properly and give priority to each of them so that the one that needs to be completed first (on time) gets over.

  • Simplify-It is human nature to take too many tasks at a time and try to complete all those, the end result is most of those will be incomplete. So find a way to simplify the tasks and give a positive output.

Life is so simple when we find easy and simple ways to complete a task. Like a coin has two sides, the other side of life a bit complicated but it can also be made easy if one follows the rules discussed above.

Spending more time on work and less time in relaxing or viz., can create problems and lead to stress. For a person to be successful, he should split both work and life into equal proportions.

Doing so not only reduces stress but also helps him to manage and prioritize his day to day activities.
