Tubeless tires are tires that do not have tubes inside. The innermost layer of the deck is filled with air, sealed by a butyl lining interior. This type of car tires are lined with an airtight and impermeable material to reduce air penetration and keep the tires functional.

In India, tubeless tires made late in, but gradually it has become the latest trend in the automobile industry. Luxury car manufacturers as Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW have already made use of tubeless tires standard, but other carmakers are still in the process to accept this as a standard feature.

The basic structure and function of traditional tires and tubeless types are similar but they differ in their methods of repairing the damage and fixing the puncture. Corresponding to the normal tires, these tires also get punctured or damaged, if not cared for well. Tyre care and maintenance is important for all types of tires, whether traditional, radial or tubeless.

Plug Method

In this type of repair method required tools include hand-drill, Inserter, resolution, and blades. Hand Drills are used to clean and make the hole visible. Inserter is used to insert the plug stem cells in the affected hole, the solution or the glue used to fix plugs and a sharp knife is required to trim extra repair compound present in the vicinity of the dotted surface.

Plug-method is considered to be accurate and efficient, providing a permanent, strong and airtight tire repair.

Patch Method

In this repair method that patches used to repair the puncture. For this only file that is readymade patches and glue used. The file is primarily used to make rough surface near the dotted part of the deck and then readymade patches are placed inside the tire using an adhesive.

Filler Method

Filler method is one of the most common methods of puncture tubeless tires. The majority of car mechanics and service providers use this method because it is believed to be one of the most effective methods that provide the strongest repair.

In this type of approach needs a mechanic a probe, repair tools, needle, glue or vulcanizing fluid, T-shaped handle tool, rubber stopper, and Allen Key. Probe is used to displace steel cord for easy use of repair strips. Repairs of tools used to position the repair compound in perfect position. Needle used to locate the reef off the area and T-handle tool for use by the repair strips for vehicle tires. Adhesive is required for setting and securing strips and rubber plugs for insertion. Allen Key is mainly used to drive nails and screws to fit the tire repair strips better put the affected tire portion.

The main advantage of this type of repair method is that the tires are not required to be removed from the rim.
