Dell its Studio 14z laptop at $649

Computer and electronics giant Dell has launched its Studio 14z 14 laptop. Priced at US $649 the company claims that it is the coolest and lightest laptop in its Studio range. The company has launched the new notebook in six colors, with prices starting at $649. Dell's lightest and thinnest studio laptop, it features a 14" 720p widescreen WLED display with TrueLife, 3GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics, 1.3-megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, one eSATA and two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port, and Windows Vista Home Premium. Specific to the base model is an Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 2GHz dual-core processor, 250GB SATA hard drive, and 802.11g wireless. For $899, you get upgraded to the Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 2GHz dual-core processor, 320GB SATA hard drive, and 802.11n wireless. The company has tried to project the newly launched laptop as best thing for students and professionals by launching the product in six beautiful colors. I like this notebook a lot, because it’s a true “thin and light” that slides right into a backpack and is ready to go with you anywhere. The bonus is that despite its slim and svelte form (4.3 lbs) it doesn’t compromise on performance – combining standard Intel mutli-core mobile processors with award-winning NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics. It’s an affordable (starting at $649) yet stylish homework-busting tool by day, with an alter ego as an entertainment powerhouse when it’s time to relax and recharge. We offer it in 6 colors: Black Chain Link, Spring Green, Midnight Blue, Purple Plum, Ruby Red and Promise Pink .
