Nigeria: AIM Endorses Anabel as Official ICT Partner

Anabel Group, the parent company of Anabel Mobile, one of Nigeria's Smart phone and other telecommunications equipment manufacturers, has signed a mega Initiative with the electronics members of Alaba international market. The initiative tagged Alaba Global Market Network; An Anabel Group Initiative, launched weekend, effectively pronounces Anabel as Alaba's Official Technology and Telecommunications Partner. Under the terms of the arrangement, the deal provides Anabel brand, the opportunity to make major inroad into the Alaba market as well as it gives it the responsibility to globally expose Alaba market to the world. Part of the assignments Anabel would carry out in the whole of the agreement, also included providing training for ALABA traders in new consumer electronics technology, providing for the Alaba Market a 21st century world class telecommunications service and infrastructure, mobile office applications, business mobility, mobile payment solutions. The initiatives now bestows the right of creating Alaba Trade and Consumer awareness Trade Fairs across Nigeria and Africa unto Anabel group.
In addition Anabel Group will seek Global investment to improve on the Alaba market infrastructure as well as expand the reach for Alaba's traders across the World.
In appreciation of this, the traders promised Anabel that the Alaba International Market would be an Anabel friendly environment, and in demonstration of their support towards the initiative, the Market will hoist the Anabel Flag alongside the Nigerian flag at its headquarters and around the market. Speaking at the launch of the initiative and also Anabel range of products, the Executive Chairman of the International Market Association Electronics Alaba, Chief Emeka Dike said "the entire Alaba Market is excited about working with Anabel, our own Nigerian company that is breaking barriers and embracing global trade in the way the Western world has done it". For Dike, Anabel has showed promise for the future of Nigeria, and Alaba will certainly identify with such a cause. He confirmed that the entire executive council of the Market numbering over 150 leaders voted unanimously to close down the entire Alaba market for three hours in honour of Anabel to demonstrate support for the brand and commitment to a new partnership which is expected to grow both institutions to even greater heights in the months and years ahead.
Mr. Sunday Ezeh the Secretary General of the Market Association equally commended the efforts of Anabel to build a Global brand for Nigeria and pledged the full support of the Alaba Market in that effort.
