As many of you know, Disney’s “The Lion King” is currently playing in theaters in 3D, but you can soon own the movie on Blu-ray and DVD! Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is releasing the movie to stores on October 4th in the following formats:
- 4-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack with Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray 2D + DVD + Digital Copy
- 2-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack with Blu-ray 2D + DVD
- 8-Disc Trilogy with “The Lion King” Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray 2D + DVD + Digital Copy, “The Lion King 1 1/2″ Blu-ray 2D + DVD, “The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride” Blu-ray 2D + DVD
In addition, the one-disc DVD edition of “The Lion King” will become available on November 15th.
This new release of “The Lion King” marks the first time that the classic animated Disney movie has been available in any form since 2004. And in addition, the Blu-ray version of the movie gives fans more than they have ever gotten from “The Lion King” before, with picture and sound enhancements, interactive features and bonus content!
