LG has formally launched its LG GD880 Mini phone. It has announced that the phone will be available for sale in Europe from March this year. It is claimed that the LG GD880 Mini is the smallest and the slimmest 3.2 inch touchscreen phone. Looks and style is the USP of this sleek handset. It has been crafted with the finest of material and is very easy to be carried in the pocket or your bag. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said “We developed the LG Mini in response to specific requests from actual consumers who were unhappy with current full touchscreen phones that are too bulky, too clunky and too expensive. The easily pocketable LG Mini delivers great looks at a reasonable price, along with the trendy features that people want,” The 3.2 inch screen has a resolution of 480 by 854 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. A 5 MP camera with autofocus provides very good photography options. Connectivity is going to be superb with WiFi b / g dual-band 3G HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.1. It can play music of most known formats. The pricing is yet to be unveiled.
