The two-way radios popularly known as walkie-talkie has a push-to-talk or (Press to Transmit) button to activate the transmitter. The radios can be divided into two categories: the first type act on Family Radio Service (FRS) and second runs on ordinary Mobile Radio Service (GMRS).
